It is easy.
The original Indiana Jones, SECRETS OF THE INCAS is a technicolor film from 1954 and is credited for being the inspiration for RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. It was filmed on location in Peru at Machu Piccho- the ancient Inca grounds. Hollywood did an excellent job of capturing the Inca civilization in stunning location shots and traditional wardrobes.
Native Peruvian singer Yma Sumac gives memorable musical performances in this film. The rest is all Hollywood with Charlton Heston as American adventurer Harry Steele & Robert Young as archaeological professor Dr. Stanley Moorehead, Nicole Maurey femme fatale & Thomas Mitchell as Harry's troublesome sidekick. A most entertaining and visually stunning film.
